Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a is a neuro-developmental disorder that begins in early childhood and is regularly seen in presentations at Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. While ADHD is typically diagnosed by a paediatrician, child psychiatrist, and/or psychologist, the aim of this seminar is to provide some fundamental knowledge around the disorder to assist clinicians in recognising the signs within a mental health assessment.

The ADI-R is a semi-structured diagnostic interview to assess behaviours related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The ADI-R typically takes between 90 minutes to 3 hours. The course is designed to teach clinicians how to administer and code ADI-R with parents/carers of children and young people with suspected autism.
