The Collaborative Centre hosts three supervisor databases to support mental health students and practitioners in Victoria to identify appropriate supervision options.
The databases support people working across mental health nursing, allied health, and Lived and Living Experience roles to find supervisors to support their professional practice.
Being listed as a supervisor
Mental health professionals with supervision experience can apply to be listed in the relevant supervisor database.
As part of the application process, supervisors confirm that they:
- meet the minimum criteria for their discipline
- are available to provide supervision
- provide information about their experience and areas of practice
View the supervisor minimum criteria on the Apply to be a supervisor in the mental health sector information page.
The Collaborative Centre does not validate individual qualifications or experience. People seeking a supervisor should undertake their own assessment to determine whether a supervisor is the right fit for their needs and context.
How to use databases
These databases are provided for people seeking supervision. They must not be used for marketing, advertising or other purposes.
- Choose the database for your discipline
- Search for supervisors
- Contact supervisors directly to discuss your needs
- Confirm they're compatible with your supervision goals before commencing supervision.
